It was another great day to be a Viking at Princeton High School as students, families, friends, coaches, staff, and administration gathered to celebrate Fall Signing Day on November 9, 2023. The atmosphere was filled with Princeton Pride as two outstanding Lady Vikes officially committed to their respective colleges.
Mackenzie Givens, a standout basketball player, surprised the crowd as she played a video announcement revealing her commitment to Xavier University. Givens, known for her incredible skills on the court, has been a team leader on the Princeton High School basketball team. Her dedication, hard work, and passion for the sport have earned her local accolades and captured the attention of DI college scouts. We are thrilled that Mackenzie will attend Xavier University and have the hometown advantage!
Another star athlete, Brianna Jones, showcased her prowess in volleyball and signed with Central State University. Jones has been an integral part of the Princeton High School volleyball team, showcasing her athleticism, teamwork, and resilience. Her commitment to excellence both on and off the court has earned her a well-deserved spot at Central State University, where she will undoubtedly contribute to the success of their volleyball program.
The Viking Room set the stage for the ceremony filled with applause, cheers, and heartfelt congratulations. As these two student-athletes signed their commitment letters, there was a palpable sense of excitement for the promising futures that await.
