Congratulations to Coach Dee Davis, who was inducted into the Greater Cincinnati Basketball Hall of Fame!

Coach Davis was one of 10 individuals inductees in 2024.

Coach Davis, a Princeton alum and a trailblazer in women's basketball, consistently demonstrates her commitment to player development, guiding athletes to collegiate women's basketball and overseeing players who receive conference, district, and all-state honors. Davis has been honored as the Greater Miami Conference and District Coach of the Year.

Her legacy extends beyond coaching. She is the first female McDonald's All-American from Princeton and was inducted into the Princeton Athletic Hall of Fame in 2013.

A 2003 Princeton graduate, Dee Davis continued her basketball journey at Vanderbilt University, leaving an indelible mark as a standout player. As the career assist leader, a member of the 1,000-point club, and recipient of multiple accolades, including 1st team All-SEC and Kodak All-American Honorable Mention, Davis's impact was felt both domestically and internationally.

Her professional career saw her drafted as the 14th overall pick to the W.N.B.A.'s Houston Comets in 2007, where she showcased her skills in the competitive league.

Beyond the borders of the United States, Dee played internationally in Sarajevo, Bosnia, and participated in training camps with teams in Seattle and San Antonio.

After retiring from professional play, Davis transitioned seamlessly into coaching, channeling her passion for the game into developing players who have excelled in collegiate basketball.

Off the court, Coach Davis engages with the community through speaking at events aimed at benefiting the city's youth.

In addition to her illustrious basketball career, Dee Davis is the author of "A Player's Guide to College Hoops," sharing insights and wisdom accumulated over her remarkable journey.

“This honor of being inducted into the Greater Cincinnati Hall of Fame is very special to me,” said Princeton girls basketball coach Dee Davis. “I’ve gone throughout my life giving my best effort in all that I do. It feels good to be recognized for my efforts. I’m looking forward to Wednesday’s event because some of my friends and family will be able to share in this moment with me and I can join a group of some very amazing people who have come before me.”
