Dear Princeton Innovation Center Staff, Students, and Families,
I am writing to inform you about a situation at the Innovation Center School on Thursday, October 17, 2024.
An unspecific threat was found on the bathroom wall. The matter was referred to our school resource officer and the Sharonville Police Department. Local law officials are investigating, and extra security is on site. At this time, they feel the threat is not credible. If there are any new findings or heightened concerns from law enforcement, we will inform you of any changes.
It is important to remember that anyone caught making a threat of violence at school can be charged with inducing panic and can face prosecution. We take such threats very seriously and will not tolerate any actions that compromise the safety of our school community.
We are proud of our district's commitment to safety. Our Viking community has always embraced the principle of "if you see something, say something" when it comes to potential safety concerns. This situation has once again demonstrated the strength of that commitment.
We will continue to take all threats against our schools seriously. We sincerely appreciate the support we have received from our local law enforcement agencies and the cooperation of our teachers, staff, students, and parents in keeping our buildings safe.
Sincerely,
Mike Anderson
Innovation Center Principal
