Winter cold and flu season is here, and with that the PCMS PFO Tissue Drive is back! Let’s stock our classrooms to help with stuffy/runny noses and keep germs away. Bring boxes of facial tissue to school from Monday January 29 through Friday February 2. The homerooms that collect the most boxes win a donut party sponsored by the PFO! (One winning homeroom per grade.) Parents can bring boxes to school on Conference Night, Thursday February 1. Each parent who donates will gain an entry into a raffle for a $25 gift card. Collection stations will be set up in the front hallway and the 6th grade entrance each morning, and in the main entrance on Conference Night. Donations will be distributed back out to all classrooms once the drive is complete.

They will have booths on tax questions, debt management, saving for college, how to build wealth, gambling help, etc. Booths so far include a lawyer, Su Casa, United Way, Emery Credit Union, and UC Economic Center. Junior Achievement will be giving vouchers for FREE TAX Preparation (they are not doing taxes on-site for privacy reasons, but they will answer general questions and make appointments). There will also be two guest speakers - one geared for high school students, the second geared for 23+ year olds. 🏀Our HS Girls' & Boys' Varsity Basketball teams are partnering with the American Cancer Society for our games vs. Lakota East on Friday, January 19th. The girls' game is at 6:00 PM & the boys' game is at 7:30 PM. 🎗️We will have vendor booths set up, hand out colored ribbons for the different cancers, and honor those who are battling or have won the fight against cancer. We would love your support to come out and raise awareness and raise money for the cause. There will be recognitions at half-time of both games. 💚 If you'd like to make a donation, please scan the QR code below on the flyer and all proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. ⛹️In addition to our Coaches vs Cancer game, we will also have our Little Vikes Night.
