Senior guard Solè Williams became the 12th player at Princeton to score 1,000 career points or more during their high school basketball career.
Solè Williams entered her senior season with 896 career points and scored her 1,000th point in the team’s 65-63 win against Panther Creek High School (N.C.) in the She Got Game Classic in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, December 10th.
Williams finished the game scoring 23 points.
The first-team All-Ohio selection from last season reached 1,000 career points in just 56 games.
Coach Dee Davis says that “Solè Williams has achieved in 3 years what most people won’t experience in 4 years of high school basketball.” She missed an entire season due to injury and has “come back in full force while turning the heads of many,” explained Davis.
Solè will continue her academic and basketball career at Texas A&M next season.
