Mrs. Brown’s homeroom is fortunate to be in partnership with the Adopt-a-Class organization.
Adopt-a-Class seeks to match classes with local businesses for education and mentorship.
This year their class is matched with a business by the name Prologis. This wonderful business comes to their classroom once per month and introduces the students to topics and lessons designed to help students understand how their business operates.
During yesterday’s visit, students worked in teams to create a model of a business building. The students also had to determine the following:
*Decide on a name for the company
*Type of product sold by the company
*Where the company would be located
