Dear Princeton Families,
Today, April 10, 2024, the Ohio standardized state testing website experienced technical issues affecting students across the state.
About half of our students at Princeton High School and the Innovation Center were able to complete the testing before the system failed. Students in our elementary buildings and at Princeton Community Middle School were not able to participate in testing today.
The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce explained that the tests were not available in the Teacher Authorized Interface and that they were working to resolve the issue. However, as of early Wednesday afternoon, teacher-authorized tests were still unavailable.
The agency apologized for the disruption to testing.
We are taking proactive steps to reschedule the testing and will communicate the new dates to families well in advance. This way, your students will have ample time to prepare.
Testing is one measure for our students to show their growth and academic progress. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Hoy, Abril 10, 2024, La página de internet de pruebas estandarizadas de Ohio experimentó problemas técnicos que afectaron a estudiantes de todo el estado. Aproximadamente la mitad de nuestros estudiantes de la secundaria (PHS) y el Centro de Innovación (INN) pudieron completar las pruebas antes de que fallara el sistema. Los estudiantes de nuestros edificios primarios y escuela media (PCMS) no pudieron participar en la prueba de hoy.
El departamento de educación y fuerza laboral de Ohio explicó que las pruebas no estaban disponibles en la plataforma autorizada por maestros y estaban trabajando para solucionar el problema. Sin embargo, las pruebas autorizadas por los maestros aún no estaban disponibles a primera hora de la tarde del miércoles.
La agencia se disculpó por la interrupción de las pruebas.
Estamos tomando medidas proactivas para reprogramar las pruebas y comunicaremos las nuevas fechas a las familias con mucha antelación. De esta manera, sus alumnos tendrán tiempo suficiente para prepararse.
Las pruebas son una medida para que nuestros estudiantes muestren su crecimiento y progreso académico. Pedimos disculpas por cualquier inconveniente que esto pueda causar.
