Updates:
Thursday, August 15, 2024: The construction work at the Thornview Drive entrance to Evendale Elementary has been completed. Once again, the entrance/exit is usable. Thank you for your patience and careful driving in our parking lot!
Due to unfinished road construction, we anticipate traffic delays and roadblocks in our communities this week. We are working to ensure bus routes can safely pass through the community. Please be patient as we focus on getting students to and from school in a timely manner.
One issue we are aware of is on Thornview Drive at the back entrance to Evendale Elementary. This will impact our Evendale drop-offs and pick-ups. We expect this issue to be resolved by the end of this week. This should NOT impact students riding buses to and from school.
First Student, Inc. Transportation and Princeton City Schools are communicating with the Ohio Department of Transportation. Based on the information we currently have, here is the plan for Evendale Elementary School parents and guardians who drop off and pick up their children:
The back entrance to Evendale Elementary School on Thornview Drive will be blocked off until Thursday, August 15th. Cars will not be able to enter from Thornview Drive.
A one-way traffic flow will flow into and out of the Evendale Elementary parking lot.
It's crucial that all cars follow the traffic flow. The school's entrance will be off Glendale-Milford Road, and the exit will also be on Glendale-Milford Road. Please follow the cones and staff directing traffic.
We expect the back entrance to be blocked through August 15th. Check the website and tune in to All Calls for any changes, additional information, and updates.
We extend our thanks to the Evendale Police Department and the Village of Evendale for their assistance in maintaining safe routes to and from school. Their support is instrumental in ensuring the safety of our students during this period of disruption.
