Congratulations to our own #PCMSFamily team for winning an Ohio Middle-Level Association OMLA Regional Award for Best Middle-Level Practices.
Nicole Ollier, Reva Buchanan, Bunny Driscoll, and DeMarco Davis are the team being honored by the Ohio Middle Level Association Regional Award for Best Middle-Level Practices. This team supports students with autism that need a significant amount of support and services. They are amazing collaborators and have created a caring, supportive classroom environment for their students.
“Nicole, Reva, Bunny, and Demarco have come together as a new team to support high-need students throughout our building,” explains Dr. Jodi Stephens, the Special Education Department Chair for Princeton Community Middle School.
“They are always a calm, consistent presence that meets students where they are and helps them to develop coping skills to deal with their emotions. Very quickly, they have developed consistent routines and procedures to support students and can act as a team with minimal communication. Throughout our building, they stand out as an example of how to work with challenging students with empathy and compassion. We are incredibly lucky to have such skilled professionals in our building.”
The team will be recognized prior to the first Home Varsity Football game vs. Colerain, on Friday, August 26, 2022, at 7:00 p.m.
