Hauck Road, in Sharonville, is now one-way eastbound from Reading Road to U.S. 42, and westbound remains closed. The safety and interchange improvement project has caused closures and delays on Hauck Road, which is the main street leading to where the Princeton Operations Center and the First Student Bus Depot are located. The closures, roadblocks, and one-way traffic due to the construction have created more traffic delays than anticipated.
These delays can impact all of our bus routes. First Student, Inc. Transportation and Princeton City Schools are in communication with the City of Sharonville and are working to ensure bus routes can safely get through the community. We appreciate your patience as we focus on getting students to and from school in a timely manner.
The road project includes widening Hauck Road to three lanes to add a center, two-way, left-turn lane, as well as curb and gutter installation; culvert replacement; railroad crossing improvements; storm sewer system replacement; and sidewalk construction on the north side of Hauck Road. The Ohio Department of Transportation expects this project to last through November 1, 2022.
