Students at Lincoln Heights Elementary love Dogman. Author Dav Pilkey has just released the latest adventure of his new breed of superhero in Dog Man: Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea. Through our partnership with the Scripps Foundation and Scholastic, every student in grades 1 through 5 received a copy of the new book that was just released on March 28, 2023. Students can write their names in the book, read them repeatedly, and even try their hands at making their own comic. Scholastic and the Scripps Foundation have been our partners for several years, sponsoring our book fairs where students choose books that are paid for by viewers of WCPO and other Scripps entities. Our copies of Dog Man were also supplied through their generosity.
