On Wednesday, members of the HCSO Command Staff and Community Affairs division were over the moon excited to present the first ever HCSO Teacher of the Month Award!
The honor went to Rachel Merritt, 2nd grade teacher at Lincoln Heights Elementary. Part of the nomination reads: “Rachel will do all that she can to help students get what they need, academically and personally. She also heads our Parent Family Involvement team, and helps to create fun and informative activities to encourage parents to come to school.”
We are so grateful for Rachel’s service to students and families at Lincoln Heights Elementary, and proud to present this award to her. HCSO Teacher of the Month is sponsored by Western Ohio Mortgage, who generously donated a gift card to Rachel to treat herself.
