Kindergarten: Morgan and Kyrie
Morgan has made a lot of progress and has demonstrated Habit 3 by putting her work first at school and home. Morgan is working hard to learn her letters, letter sounds, and sight words. Keep up the hard work Morgan, I'm so proud of you!
Kyrie is a good leader. He always welcomes all. He synergizes really well with all students.
1st Grade: Aaliyah and Messiah
Aaliyah shows up to our class everyday ready to learn. She is kind, hard working, and a joy to have in class. While she demonstrates all the habits, she synergizes with her peers! She gets along well with her classmates, works well in a team, and is extremely respectful to her teachers and peers. Congratulations Aaliyah and keep it up! I am so proud of you!
Messiah consistently embodies the seven habits of Leader in Me. He approaches each day at school with a positive attitude that sets a great example for his peers. Messiah is a true definition of a leader.
2nd Grade: Amiyah and Jaemir
Amiyah is an absolute joy to have in 2nd grade! She is a fabulous reader and has been working incredibly hard in math. Amiyah does an amazing job using habit 6 "Synergize" in the classroom. She does this by always highlighting her strengths in group work and making sure everyone feels a part of our big classroom team. She is kind, funny and a ray of sunshine.
Jaemir demonstrates habit 5, seek first to understand, then be understood. Jaemir adds so much warmth and kindness to our classroom. Everyday he displays empathy and understanding to the other students in our room. He is quick to invite a friend who is alone to join his group and will always listen when they need an ear. His compassion makes our classroom and school a better place!
3rd Grade: JaZiah and Hannah
JaZiah is always exhibiting Habit 3- Put First Things First. She comes to school every day ready to follow the routine and expectations. JaZiah is always organized and prepared for our day. She shows her peers how to prioritize your time and work and do it well, too. JaZiah so deserves this award and I am very proud of her!
Hannah is a leader in every way. She comes in ready to learn and participates in every opportunity to learn. Above all, she models habit 4- THINK WIN WIN daily. She is very encouraging of her peers and always finds a way for everyone to find success. Keep it up, Hannah!!
4th Grade: Jernei and Kayden
Jernei comes ready to learn each day. She is willing to work with all of her peers and is eager to hear what others need to say. She not only adds to our group conversations, but also appreciates what her classmates have to say! Jernei shows us how to synergize everyday!
Kayden is such a joy to have. He is always trying his best. Kayden also works hard to spread positivity in our classroom.
5th Grade: Ariyah and Brian
Ariyah has an excellent work ethic. She works extremely hard and is always well prepared for class. She uses class time well and continues to reach her personal goals!
Brian is a hard-working student in the classroom. He stays focused on what he is supposed to be doing in the classroom. Brian knows that he needs to complete his work before he begins the fun activities. Brian is helpful toward his classmates and always has his supplies. He is a great role model for his classmates.
