5th graders had a great field trip to the Cincinnati Observatory! The students were able to visit both buildings to see the telescopes. They even got to turn the crank to open the roof! Students put on sun goggles to be able to safely look at the sun. Once the students were back at school, they took out the classroom telescope and looked at the sun through that.
