Congratulations to our February Viking VIP’s!

Kindergarten: Vinci’ona and Samuel

Vinci'ona works well with other students. She is always problem solving.  Vinci'ona is always seen as someone who advocates for all to have a win-win.

Samuel has been a great addition to our Kindergarten class.  He is a great leader and role model.  He is also a great friend.  Samuel helps his classmates, supports them to make good choices, and SYNERGIZES during group work!

1st Grade: Alana and Sir Ayden

Alana demonstrates Habit 6, synergize. She encompasses all the habits on a daily basis. She is a kind and caring friend to all her peers. She works incredibly hard every single day displaying great determination in her school work. She is an absolute light in our room and I am so impressed by her grace and empathy day in and out!

Sir Ayden's wonderful and positive attitude shines bright in the classroom. He is a leader who begins with the end in mind. He demonstrates a strong work ethic and applies it to all that he does. Sir Ayden is a ray of sunshine that beams throughout first grade.

2nd Grade: Zaidyn and Nikko

Zaidyn comes to school everyday ready to learn. He always wants to know what we're doing in class and always makes sure his work is completed. Zaidyn begins with the end in mind, always thinking about how he can get his work done the most efficiently so he can move on to the next activity. I am proud of how much Zaidyn has grown over the first half of the year and his growth is surely a reflection of how hard he has been working.

Nikko is always thinking win-win. He is constantly making sure his classmates are being treated fairly and that all students are receiving the same opportunities. He is happy to be at school every single day. His energy radiates in my room and he works very hard. He is such a good leader and is going to rock out the rest of the year!

3rd Grade: Neveah and Ezeriah

Neveah is a natural leader! She comes in each day with a zest for learning. Neveah shows Habit 3, putting first things first, everyday. She knows her goals and knows how to meet them. Not only does she accomplish her goals, but she encourages others to do the same!

Ezeriah has been such a leader in our room! He has very clearly and consistently exhibited Habit 4- think win-win. Ezzy is always thinking of different ways to solve problems whether it be in math or issues outside of the class like at recess! He is truly always looking for solutions in which everyone is happy and feels heard.

4th Grade: Dakya and Bryson

Dakya is such a joy to have in class. She is a light to the 4th grade. Dakya always steps up to help with random jobs! She also does an amazing job at staying on task and working her hardest. As an extra bonus, Dakya gives the BEST hugs! Thank you for being your best self every day Dakya.

Bryson exhibits habit 2, Begin with the End in Mind. He has been working extra hard to meet his academic goals. It has been rewarding to see Bryson grow and mature into a responsible student. He works hard in class and finishes his work on time.

5th Grade: Kaden and Jeremiah

In the classroom, Kaden is the student who is in it for the whole group. He does what he can to help his classmates and teachers. Kaden is a great teammate because he wants everyone on his team to succeed. Kaden is a student I am proud to have in my class.

When I am teaching, Jeremiah is quiet and listening.  He works hard every single day and is always respectful of his peers. He uses class time well and hardly ever has unfinished homework.  He has come to school motivated to do his best and to beat his individual goals.
