3rd, 4th, and 5th grade scientists were visited by the Cincinnati Observatory for a lesson on the upcoming eclipse. Students looked at a scale model of the sun, the earth, and the moon. “It’s crazy how the tiny moon can cover the whole sun!” -quote from a 5th grader! Students also learned solar viewing safety and created pockets for their solar viewing glasses. Thank you Cincinnati Observatory!
