Princeton City Schools are CLOSED on Friday, January 10, 2025, due to impending bad weather. Administration and non-bargaining staff members should report to their buildings at the regular time. #AAGV

There are several First Student buses that are delayed this morning. We appreciate your patience as we get routes covered with substitute drivers. 

Parents/guardians--you can download the Firstview App and enter your child's school ID into the app, to see your child's scheduled bus times.

2 Hour Delay

All Princeton City Schools will be on a two-hour delay on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Please check our website online at www.princetonschools.net or local radio and television stations for further updates.

Reminders:

  1. A.M. Kindergarten students will be transported to school following the two-hour delay schedule.  These students will stay at school for the full day.  Kindergarten students will be transported home following the afternoon/full-day dismissal schedule.  Half-day students may participate in the school lunch program or bring lunch to eat in the cafeteria.  Free and reduced lunch applications are available if you believe your family qualifies. Please e-mail Jean Sparks, Director of Food Service, at jsparks@vikingmail.org to obtain application material or contact the Princeton Food Service Department at 513-864-1023.  Otherwise, the cost of a student lunch is $2.25. 

*Please note: On a 2-hour delay, breakfast is not provided.

  1. P.M. kindergarten and P.M. preschool students will have no change in the schedule during a two-hour delay.


  2. A.M. preschool classes will be canceled during days with a two-hour delay.

Innovation Center  Students will still be expected to log in and work on their courses.  If there is a two-hour delay, the Innovation Center will be closed, but students will be expected to log in and work from home. In any case of Early Release, students will be transported to the main campus for their assigned bus back to the community at the amended time.

Champions Two-Hour Delay: The elementary buildings will be open at 8:00 a.m. until the start of school (delayed time) at no additional charge.

This is an important message from Princeton City Schools:

Princeton City Schools continues to monitor the roadways, parking lots, sidewalks, and temperature.  We will be up early to check the conditions again. At this time, ALL Princeton City Schools WILL be open and operating on their regular schedules tomorrow, Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Students should arrive at their normal start times.

We ask that everyone exercise caution during their morning commute and allow extra time if needed.

As of the time of this posting (4 PM on Tuesday), Princeton City Schools will be open and operating on a normal schedule tomorrow, Wednesday, January 8, 2025. We are aware that a fabricated social media post is circulating which falsely claims schools will be closed for the remainder of the week.

Please disregard this misinformation. School will be in session unless you receive direct communication from Princeton City Schools through our official channels.

If any changes to the school schedule become necessary, we will notify all families through our standard communication methods.

PCSD Closure Update:

The Princeton Board of Education meetings scheduled for tonight, Monday, January 6, 2025, have been cancelled and will be rescheduled. Athletic practices and evening activities are cancelled. Stay warm and safe!

The evening Board of Education Meetings for January 6, 2025, are still planned on happening as of now. If that changes, an announcement will go out.
