Students in Ms. Holliday's AP and IB Art Classes are participating in the Artists Reaching Classroom Program this year. We have been on field trips to Bang Zoom Design and the Taft Art Museum. Visiting Artists Cedric Michael Cox and Adoria Maxberry have also visited our classroom to share their experiences as professional artists. The students have loved every experience! One more visiting artist, Anissa Pulcheon, is coming this month. Then students will create artworks for an exhibit based on the theme of WONDER at the Pendleton Art Center. Stay tuned for the list of Viking Artists whose work is selected for the exhibition taking place in February and March.
