Isaiah Dudley, a junior at Princeton High School (PHS), was recognized as an outstanding student by the Ohio Alliance of Black School Educators.
Isaiah has worked with Dr. Kevin Jamison on key projects related to the Health and Safety goals of the Princeton City School District’s Strategic Plan, including awareness and education regarding the dangers of vaping. Isaiah has also been a leader in the Princeton Community Middle School (PCMS) and PHS Hope Squads. Thanks to Isaiah’s participation, PCMS served as a model school for southwest Ohio in the area of suicide prevention. Much of this work became very crucial during the onset of the pandemic in 2020.
Students from the school community saw Isaiah as a safe friend and active leader of Hope Squad. Isaiah was able to alert school staff regarding peers who were having emotional difficulty. He continues to work in close collaboration with school counselors and district administrators to stay aware of the needs of students at Princeton High School. As Isaiah has grown over the past few years, he has remained active in a number of areas associated with student leadership, academics, and athletics, including:

Isaiah exemplifies a true reflection of what it means to have school spirit and to care deeply about the school community. It is our expectation at Princeton that Isaiah will continue to contribute to the various committees and will serve as a model for what it means to have joy, be caring, and continually uplift others around him.
