Glendale Street Resurfacing to Begin Wednesday, Sept. 28

The following streets are being resurfaced:

Annadale Ln., Church Ave., Carruthers Pond Dr., Jefferson Ave., Lincoln Ave., Cole Ave., Summit Ave. & Summit Park parking lots & Myrtle Ave.

The Village’s contractor, Strawser Construction, will be resurfacing these streets beginning Wednesday, and finishing Friday, weather permitting. They will place “No Parking” signs 24 hours in advance of work. In most cases, If you have any questions, please contact the Village Office at (513) 771-7200.

This resurfacing has a typical lifespan of about 15-20 years. It is a very affordable alternative to repaving and will ensure a good condition for the listed streets for a long time. The pricing is even more competitive thanks to Strawser Construction’s involvement with the ODOT Cooperative Purchasing Program. All costs for this work are being paid by the Village’s special revenue fund for street maintenance and construction, meaning no General Fund or VPGI funds are being used for this work.
