The Springdale Health Department’s Annual Health Fair The Springdale Health Department’s Annual Health Fair will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2021, from 12-2 PM in the Auxiliary Gym of the Springdale Community Center (flyer attached). Influenza vaccinations (flu shots) will be available for residents of the City of Springdale. Please contact the Springdale Health Department at 513-346-5725 to schedule an appointment. Walgreens Pharmacy will partner with the Springdale Health Department at the Annual Health Fair to provide influenza vaccinations for residents of the City of Springdale who are covered by private insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. The Springdale Health Department will provide the flu shot to Springdale residents that are uninsured. Adult flu vaccinations are given in the deltoid muscle (upper arm). For ease of administration, be sure to wear clothing that will make it easy to access your upper arm (short sleeves, sleeveless blouse, etc.). To promote community health and reduce the potential transmission of Covid, please reschedule your flu shot appointment if you are sick on the day of the Annual Health Fair. Additionally, please plan to wear a mask and practice social distancing during the event. Pro Scan imaging and Hamilton County Recycling & Solid Waste plan to have booths at the health fair this year. Miracle Ear is tentatively scheduled to provide hearing screenings. Please note that the presence of Miracle Ear, Pro Scan, and Hamilton County Recycling & Solid Waste is contingent on limited community spread of Covid. The Springdale Health Department’s Annual Health Fair and the Springdale Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Business Expo will be held simultaneously at the Springdale Community Center on October 5, 2021. This is a great opportunity to attend both events and to sample the chili from the annual chili cook-off. Please contact the Springdale Health Department at 513-346-5725 or by email at health@springdale.org if we can provide additional information or assistance regarding the Annual Health Fair.
