The students in Mrs. McCrory’s 5th grade writing class started the year getting to know their classmates by conducting interviews with each other. Students were randomly placed with their partners in hopes of meeting a new friend. After completing the interviews, each person wrote a paragraph about the other person. At first, some students were nervous but through the process learned about the common interests and traits. It was a great way to start the school year and a wonderful way to meet new people in their class.
