All fifth grade students in Mrs. McCrory’s social studies class have been participating in the DARE program sponsored by the Sharonville Police Department. We are so lucky to have Office Aaron Hayes work with our students throughout the school year. The DARE program is a national program that teaches young people about making good choices, problem solving, and being a good citizen. Throughout various activities, Officer Hayes has built a positive relationship with the students and taught them many strategies that they can use as they transition to middle school and also throughout their lives. On May 3rd we celebrated our Dare graduation with certificates, cupcakes, treat bags, and a visit from the Police canine and his handler. It was a great afternoon celebrating with Officer Hayes and members of the Sharonville Police Department.
