In celebration of National Autism Awareness Month Woodlawn Elementary School's Special Education Staff celebrated Autism Awareness Day. Students rotated through four stations to experience what students with Autism experience on a daily basis. Autism Awareness is observed in April each year in the United States. W It's a time dedicated to raising awareness about autism spectrum disorder (ASD), promoting acceptance and inclusion, and supporting individuals with autism and their families. Throughout the month various events, activities, and initiatives take place to educate the public about autism and to highlight the unique talents and contributions of people on the autism spectrum.
