In celebration of Hope Week, Woodlawn's theme this year will be, "BELONGING". Throughout the week students and staff will participate in building wide activities and challenges.
“Hope Squad is a peer to peer suicide prevention group that aims to raise awareness about mental health and suicide prevention,” Hope Squad members are nominated by other students that think they would be good at helping people through hard times. These students are trained to note signs of distress and reach out, connecting peers to help and hope. They connect with the entire student body to reduce stigma and change their school's culture.
