Greetings LHES Families:

Can you believe it is December? As in...we are halfway through the school year!!! We have been working very hard and are excited to turn this corner, heading into winter/springtime learning for our students. Over the next few days before holiday break, students will be taking iREADY

Diagnostic Assessments that will show us what they’ve learned so far. The assessments will also give us information on what we need to work on for the duration of the school year. Our students all have goals for the testing and know they need to focus to demonstrate a clear picture of what they do and don’t know. Most students take the testing very seriously as they will get a score immediately and will be celebrated for their growth. PLEASE add iREADY to the table or car conversation topic list for you and your family over the next week or so.

I want to thank all of you for continuing to support our students in their daily lives as students of Lincoln Heights Elementary School. With your help, we are making great progress with our students in all academic areas. If you ever have any questions on how you can best help, contact your child’s teacher or one of our academic coaches.
