Shout-Out to our Buddy Classes! Big shout out to our second grade buddies! The children in Ms. Sneed’s, Mrs. Turner’s, and Mrs. Power’s class took the time to write notes of encouragement to our 5th graders. Their positive cards were a great way for our students to begin their Ohio state tests. The 5th graders were excited to see the sweet messages and colorful drawings from their little buddies! It helped to lighten the mood and make testing day a little less stressful!

5th Graders Learn about the Solar System! 5th Grade Science class has been focused on studying the solar system. One part of our unit focuses on the difference between the Inner Planets and the Outer Planets. We pulled in some reading skills by comparing and contrasting them using Venn diagrams. In the end, we presented each set of planets by creating some mini-posters that are now displayed in the hallway. The students have had a great time learning about our solar system, including learning about the different planets, the size of our star, and dwarf planets!
