Speech Pathology Week 2024 takes place from August 25th to 31st. This is a week to celebrate the impact of speech pathologists and educate ourselves on communication disabilities.
Each year, Speech Pathology Week has a theme. The theme for Speech Pathology Week 2024 is "Communicate Your Way."
During Speech Pathology Week 2024, awareness will be raised concerning the variety of ways that people communicate and the fact that there is no one right way.
We are celebrating Speech Pathologist, Jacquelyn Daigle! She serves students at Woodlawn and Stewart Elementary Schools.
In her words: "As Speech Language Pathologists in the schools, we work to ensure that every student has a voice and is able to advocate, build relationships, and be the best learner they can be inside the classroom."
