🏕️ 📚 Camp Reads-A-Lot at Heritage Hill! What a fun evening for our Heritage Hill families at our Family Literacy Night! We had bingo with prizes, books from the Princeton Mobile book bus, hot dogs, s'mores, pumpkin jokes, apple art, a cupcake walk, brain break dancing, popcorn, a Photo Booth, estimation jars (lanterns filled with marshmallows) & SO MUCH FUN! 125 student families attended last night- thank you! All students who attended had the opportunity to win a raffle basket- we had 5 winners whose names were drawn this morning! Democracy at work at Heritage Hill Elementary School! 🇺🇸 Students have spent the last month campaigning for their favorite snack: Doritos or Takis, creating posters, and voting during their library time! Students were able to vote electronically or on a paper ballot. The results of our favorite snack election are in and the winner is TAKIS! Heritage Hill Kindergarten classes enjoyed the beautiful weather outside on Friday, November 1 for their first field trip of the year, to Parky's Farm! 🧡💙 Heritage Hill ended the week with a special guest for Friendship Friday! We welcomed Gary, the FC Cincinnati Mascot today! Gary visited all of our classrooms during our new vertical learning initiative, Friendship Friday! During Friendship Friday sessions once a month, we gather in groups of 10 throughout the school to build relationships with friends in other grade levels and focus on a social emotional activity. ✈️Ms. Pattersons 2024 Adopt-A-Class Kick Off ✈️ Students in Ms. Patterson's 5th grade class at Heritage Hill got to have a fun and interactive learning experience Wednesday, October 23 with Air Force 123 Air Control Squadron members.
