It's time for another edition of Meet the Team Thursday at Heritage Hill! Meet Mr. Jesse! Mr. Jesse is not a new face to Heritage Hill! He is the son of Mrs. Collins who now teaches at Sharonville Elementary. Mrs. Collins taught for 28 years at Heritage Hill before transferring to Sharonville & Mr. Jesse grew up attending special events and working evening/weekend hours alongside his mom! Once a Viking, always a Viking! A couple of fun facts about Mr. Jesse: 🏈Mr. Jesse played 4 years of collegiate football at Capital University! ⛳️ Mr. Jesse enjoys playing golf in his free time! 🎂 Mr. Jesse and his sister, who is 4 years old than him, share the same birthday! Fun field trip during fall to the farm! A great day for Heritage Hill's 4th grade students to enjoy fall's cooler temperatures with hands-on, in-person farm lessons! Students learned about Ohio history and how Gorman Farm has operated from 1835-present, including doing chores children would've done throughout the years and created a button necklace as a keepsake! #EveryStudentEveryOpportunity #AAGV

Another fantastic field trip to Green Acres for the second half of Heritage Hill's 5th grade students yesterday! Cooler temperatures made for ideal outdoor learning conditions to learn from nature! We are grateful for our continued partnership with Green Acres to make these field trips possible, giving every student every opportunity! #AAGV

Mrs. Contreras brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to her role including being a native Spanish speaker. 🛟Heritage Hill Hope Squad Chalks the Walk 🛟 It may have been a rainy start to the day but Heritage Hill's Hope Squad spread a message of positivity this morning by chalking the walk with welcoming and positive messages for students to see as they entered the building! Green Acres is the place to be! 🌲🌳🎵 Today half of Heritage Hill's 5th grade students went to Green Acres where they took part in hands on learning through a variety of science experiments! Students learned how ecological relationships in nature provide the necessities of life and explored fossils as well. #EveryStudentEveryOpportunity #AAGV

The purpose of Hope Squad is foster human connection, community and hope. UPDATE: The Evendale Police Department has notified us that road closures related to the Cooper Road water main break are expected to continue through the end of this week.

Evendale Elementary remains open and is operating on its normal schedule.

First Student Transportation will work around the road closures, but families should be prepared for possible bus delays in the Evendale area.

Evendale Elementary has water pressure and is NOT currently under a boil advisory. Students are encouraged to bring a full, clear water bottle to school each day this week.

We will continue to monitor the situation and share additional information if changes affect school operations, transportation, or water service.
