Gary visited all of our classrooms during our new vertical learning initiative, Friendship Friday! During Friendship Friday sessions once a month, we gather in groups of 10 throughout the school to build relationships with friends in other grade levels and focus on a social emotional activity. Students in Ms. Patterson's 5th grade class at Heritage Hill got to have a fun and interactive learning experience Wednesday, October 23 with Air Force 123 Air Control Squadron members. Students played a candy corn academic quiz game, enjoyed a snack with the squadron members and got to ask questions about their jobs with the Air Force.
