Kindergarten: Jeremiah and Kenley
Jeremiah has started Kindergarten with a bang! Jeremiah is a helpful and caring member of our classroom. He often inspires his classmates to do the right thing and be a LEADER. Jeremiah's support for others creates a friendly and positive learning space for everyone. Way to be Proactive Jeremiah, keep up the amazing work!
Kenley is an EXCELLENT ROLE MODEL student! She always follows the routines & procedures. Kenley FOLLOWS ALL HABITS!!!
1st Grade: Jamiahna and Ali’yah
I am very proud to nominate Jamiahna Mackey as my Student of the Month! She is the definition of Habit 1, putting first things first! She always shows she is ready to learn and puts first things first in both her behavior and her academics. She always comes to school ready to learn, listen, and lead! Keep up the great work Jamiahna!
Ali’yah has started the year strong by demonstrating Habit One: Be Proactive. She completes her assignments on time and gives 100% effort, setting a great example for her peers. Keep up the great work, Ali’yah!
2nd Grade: Aaliyah and Alana
Aaliyah is always proactive! She comes into class everyday happy to learn, following directions and works hard in every class she is in. She completes her work to the best of her ability and is incredibly kind to her classmates. She never needs reminders of how to be a leader...she just is one! I am beyond proud of her this year and cannot wait to see her continue to lead and grow this year in 2nd grade.
Alana consistently demonstrates habit 1- be proactive in our classroom. Alana is always ready for class, she has her materials and gets her classwork done. She is proactive when we switch rooms, always making sure she has the correct things. Alana works hard in class!
3rd Grade: Rick and Melody
Rick is an amazing leader. He comes in each day ready to tackle all tasks and achieve success! He takes care of his space to be sure he is ready for each new activity, while staying organized. Rick knows that he is responsible for himself and sets a positive tone for others to follow! Way to go!
Melody is an exemplary leader in our classroom who is always being proactive! Melody makes great choices for herself and owns her learning and experiences. She doesn't involve herself in drama or negativity. Melody knows that she is in charge of herself and shines!
4th Grade: Nevaeh and Anyia
Nevaeh is our student of the month because she continues to display habit 1, being proactive. She comes to school every day prepared and ready to learn. Nevaeh chooses to do the right thing, even when no one is watching. Keep up the great work!
Aniya is a leader in the classroom. She chooses to Be Proactive during class and at specials. It is great to have her in class.
5h Grade: Jamal and Ka'maria
Jamal is an example of being proactive because he always comes to class prepared and ready to work. He is respectful to his peers as well as the adults he interacts with, but mostly, he takes initiative and often does things without being asked.
Ka'maria plays a major role in our classroom family. She is the ultimate silent leader. I appreciate her dedication to her learning and everyone else in our class.
Art and Gym: Naomi and Kenley
Naomi is always proactive when she is in art. She does the right thing without being asked, even when no one is looking and she is always there to help out her classmates too!
Kenley may just be starting kindergarten, but I am already impressed with how proactive she is. She is responsible, always takes initiative, and leads her class well. Great job Kenley!
