Congratulations to Lincoln Heights November VIKING VIP's!
Kindergarten: Keari and Navaeh
Keari has done an amazing job at putting first things first! She works hard at school and home every day, she's focused, and determined to do her best. I'm so proud of how much she's learned and the progress she's made in such a short amount of time. Keep it up Keari!
Navaeh always synergizes with her classmates. She puts her belongings in her Red Folder when told to so that she can stay organized. She is a good leader!
1st Grade:Mikah and Ny’lah
I am so proud of Mikah for earning Viking VIP! He works hard in class every single day and always displays the habit of putting first things first. Mikah is goal oriented and always tries his best to do what he needs first before moving on to any of his other work. Mikah is kind, sweet, and always wants to learn and grow. Keep up the good work!
Ny'lah exemplifies Habit 3: Put First Things First by arriving daily ready to learn. She demonstrates a can-do attitude and consistently plans ahead to achieve her academic and classroom goals. She is a goal setter and understands the importance of participating in learning.
2nd Grade: Kamarii and Nevaeh
Kamarii always puts first things first in our classroom. He consistently completes classwork and homework assignments, plus he ALWAYS puts forth his best effort academically. He makes sure all of his "must dos" are done before his "want to dos". Kamarii is a leader in our classroom everyday and I am proud to recognize him as our November student of the month!
Nevaeh has done a fabulous job putting "First Things First." She always makes sure she gets the important things done first! She unpacks immediately after breakfast to get in line for reading, turns in homework on time, practices her math facts and more. She has grown so much this year in 2nd grade and is such a hard worker. I am beyond proud of her and can't wait to see all she is going to achieve. Keep up the amazing work!
3rd Grade: Ja’Zareah and Da’Lonni
Ja'Zareah has shown habit 3 in many ways this year! She comes to school every day and shows that she is confident in our daily routines. Ja'Zareah knows what is most important regarding school and learning and she prioritizes those things! It is very cool to see. I am so proud of her!
Da’Lonni is new to our Lincoln Heights family. He is a phenomenal student in the way he shows leadership and dedication to his learning. He exhibits habit three and always puts first things first as he comes in each day ready to learn all that he can and apply himself fully in every activity and assignment. We are so proud of Da’Lonni and are excited that he has joined our family.
4th Grade: Mi’Asyah and Arielle
Mi'Asyah puts first things first daily when she prioritizes her responsibilities, arriving prepared to complete her tasks while maintaining a positive atmosphere in the classroom. She collaborates effectively with her peers and other groups, demonstrating genuine leadership skills.
Arielle is a great example of a student who shows Habit 3: Put First Things First. Arielle is at school to learn and she shows it. She always turns in her homework on time. Arielle has a good time at school but knows that the learning comes first. It's great to have her in class.
5th Grade: Antoni’la and Dakota
Antoni’la Pickett is the priority princess! She does an amazing job at putting first things first. She ALWAYS has her homework complete, i-ready lessons complete, and all of her class work complete in an efficient manner. With the time left over she has brought so much joy to Mrs Miller with her artwork and friendly conversations with other students. You rock Priority Princess!
Dakota puts first things first because she has shown the ability to stay focused on important goals even when faced with distractions. She also has demonstrated consistent organization, time management, and prioritizes important tasks.
Art, Gym and Music: Nevaeh, Keziyah and Ja’Zlynn
Nevaeh is always putting first things first when she is in the art room. She is always the first to have art supplies ready and waiting for Ms.Moreland to give directions.
Keziyah always puts first things first. In class she is always organized and focused during instruction. She is an active listener and a hard worker in PE first so she can then play later.
Ja'Zlynn has worked very hard and it is time to CELEBRATE. She has been spending her class time wisely perfecting, practicing, and coaching others. There were a couple of moments of discouragement when we first started learning this unit, but she took a deep breath and kept going.
