Nyomi models how to be a leader everyday to everyone. I am so proud of her.

Cayden is one of those kids that is ALWAYS looking out for others. He is a people-pleaser and is also extremely inclusive. Cayden is not only always looking for ways in which everyone can be included but he wants everyone to be included and HAPPY. Jy’Air is the ultimate leader. He works hard to complete work while also making sure his classmates feel confident. This think-win- win mentality makes him a classroom rockstar! Jy’Air keeps showing this leadership in all areas of school, at all times of the day. Jy’Air comes in each day with a warm greeting, ready to tackle the day and help make it great for everyone!

5th Grade: Tyren and Leonisha

Viking VIP’s

Tyren Coley is always thinking win-win.  He is a student I can always count on to complete his work or help out. He is cheerfully motivated to assist his classmates when they are struggling or just because.  He also stays positive about learning and makes others feel valued about their accomplishments.

Leonisha thinks win-win. She is always working to ensure that everyone around her is successful by maintaining a peaceful and hardworking classroom environment.

Gym, Art, and Music: Marco, Justina and Elijah

Viking VIP’s

Marco is almost always thinking Win-Win. He always gives 100% when he's competing and cooperates well with others. Although he is competitive, he always displays good sportsmanship and encourages teammates and opponents alike.

Justina Hedges is the perfect example of a student who embraces the Win-Win mindset. When she is in the art room, she is always looking for ways to help find solutions in any situation involving other students. She is the first to offer support, ensuring that everyone feels valued and included, and works towards outcomes where everyone benefits.

I have seen Elijah quietly and privately remind other students to focus on the task at hand.  He knows that in music class we are interdependent so he has been doing a lot better to contribute his best and help others to do their best so that we all win together.
