Pumpkin Math at Stewart! Students in Mrs. Shelton's class estimated how many seeds would be in a pumpkin. Seeds were sorted from the pulp onto counting mats in groups of 5's or 10's. Students graphed how many each group had and solved the difference between the estimated and actual number of seeds. The pumpkin had 724 seeds!
