Stewart 4th graders visited Gorman Farm! Through historical interpretation, students uncover how the Gorman family grew their own food and lived on this land through different time periods from 1835 to the present, and how this local history of agriculture is an important part of Ohio history. Students take part in chores that children of the Gorman family would have done and learn to how make a handmade toy or craft to bring the history lesson home.

Math & Writing Brewing at Stewart! Students in Mrs. Shelton’s class completed a fun (and tasty) activity! Each student was given a recipe card with the number of ingredients and total number of items in their witch's brew. Students chose how many of each item went in their recipe. Then, students used transition words and verbs to write the steps to make their recipe! In the end, students got to eat the trail mix. #differencemaker #AAGV #WenotMe
