October is National Principals Month which gives us the perfect opportunity to show our appreciation for Mr. Walker! In addition to all of his administrative duties, Mr. Walker helps to set the tone and ensure that everything runs smoothly on a daily basis at Glendale Elementary. Some days, his job starts early in the morning and can last late into the evenings. We will be showing our appreciation for Mr. Walker all throughout the month but we also want a little help from YOU!! We are asking that you find small creative ways to show your appreciation as well. Please consider some of the following suggestions below:
*Help your child(ren) write a "Thank You" note to Mr. Walker so that they can deliver it to him at school.
*Take the time to give Mr. Walker a positive shout out on social media. Don't forget to tag Glendale Elementary and use the #AAGV.
*Give a small treat with clever messages such as "Mr. Walker is all that and a bag of chips" or "Mr. Walker is a Lifesaver"...you get the idea!
*Simply tell Mr. Walker thank you or wish him a Happy Principals Month" when you see him in the Car Rider line in the morning or on the grounds throughout the day.
