Princeton High School Safety Update - September 6, 2024

September 6, 2024

Dear Princeton High School Families and Community,

Princeton High School Administration was made aware of a student who was possibly under the influence and had a vape. The information was passed along to the appropriate individuals, and our Security team and School Resource Officer handled the matter immediately.

During the investigation, the administration determined a search was necessary. Upon the search of the student, a weapon was found in the student’s backpack. This violates the student code of conduct, and the Sharonville Police Department, who were already on campus, supported the Princeton Administration with the investigation.  The police transported the student off campus.

This event is unrelated to the social media threats.

Princeton High School was briefly on a transport, hold-in-place lockdown while the police escorted the student out of the building.

We commend the vigilance and quick action of our school administration, security team, and community partners. Their continued support and cooperation are crucial in maintaining a safe and secure learning environment.

We continue to have a high presence of law enforcement at the high school. All students and staff are safe, and learning will continue until the end of the day.
