You’ll get to: Meet the Coaches Receive Conditioning, Viking Golf Camp, and Tryout Information Learn Viking Golf Expectations No experience necessary. Golf: a game played on a large open-air course, in which a small hard ball is struck with a club into a series of small holes in the ground, the object being to use the fewest possible strokes to complete the course. Golf is an individual sport that can also be played as a team. It is not only physical, but also tests your mental and emotional skills while being social in nature. As a reminder, your student’s second quarter report card ends on January 3, 2023. Your student’s first quarter grades will be averaged into your student’s second quarter grades and Semester Finals to create their final grades of the first semester. You can purchase a yearbook online at ybpay.lifetouch.com. The sitting fee is $20 for the first outfit and $10 for each additional outfit. Photo packages can be purchased. You are not required to purchase any photos. Do you know a Gold Star Teacher? Nominations are open for the Gold Star Teacher Award! This is the fourth year Gold Star Chili is partnering with The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati to find and celebrate exemplary teachers throughout our community. The winner of the Gold Star Teacher Award will receive a $1,000 grant, a $500 donation to the school, a free meal from Gold Star for the whole school, a gift basket with school supplies and other swag items, and the option of taking their class to see DISNEY’S MOANA JR. at the Taft Theatre or bringing a TCT on Tour production to the school. Nominations are open until December 31 – after that, public votes occur during the first round of voting for our 10 finalists before announcing a winner in April.
