Human Resources

Human Resources Overview

Dear Friends,

The success of any organization depends on the quality of its personnel.  Princeton has approximately 800 employees and we continue to make excellent progress with our students! The Human Resources Department of the Princeton City School District is dedicated to finding the best employees to help our students reach their potential. Therefore, we are frequently heard saying. "Princeton only hires the best!"

Because we feel it is important, we actively pursue teacher candidates from a wide variety of university and college programs. We could fill all our openings from southwest Ohio’s wealth of excellent local institutions of higher learning, but that would not provide us with the diversity in educators that we seek for our learners.  Our student-to-teacher ratio is 15:1.  63.5% of our teaching and administrative staff holds a Master's Degree or a higher level of education.

The HR department carefully screens each application seeking out candidates who have distinguished themselves with high academic performance in college. We also search out those who have had experiences that prepared them well for the challenges of teaching. Once applicants become candidates, they are given an extensive interview in which district administrators identify those with the core values, beliefs, philosophies, knowledge, and skills necessary to guide each Princeton child toward success. Those identified as such become members of the Princeton team of professional educators.

Princeton Pride

Pride runs deep in Princeton City Schools because we know that we have the very best, both inside and outside of the classroom, who will do whatever it takes for our children. If you think you have what it takes, please visit Online Application - Greater Cincinnati School Application System and apply for our current openings that you quality for!
