Parent Resources
Parents and Guardians
Parents are CRUCIAL in preventing bullying. You may recall that in the Fall of 2008, all students in grades 3-12 at all Princeton City Schools completed a bullying questionnaire. According to the students’ responses on the survey, only 37% of the students who reported that they are bullied by others 2-3 times a month or more, reported that they told a parent or guardian about the bullying. Talk with your children about bullying and let them know it is okay to talk with you and their teachers at school if someone is bullying them. Let the school know if bullying is happening. Of those students who reported that they are bullied 2-3 times a month or more, only 35% reported that they told an adult at school about the bullying. Students and parents can report bullying 24 hours a day on the Princeton City School District website or by phone. Click on the No Bully Zone sign on the Princeton webpage. For more information about what you can do, check out the tip sheets for parents and guardians.
Online Reporting Form
The Princeton City Schools have an online reporting form that parents and students can complete if they experience bullying or know about someone who is being bullied. Click on the No Bully Zone sign on the Princeton City School District website, any of the school websites, or on the left side of this page.
