Safety Update - March 6, 2025

March 6, 2025

Dear Stewart Elementary School Families,

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department and Sharonville Police Department placed Stewart Elementary School into an external lockdown at 10:51 a.m. today, March 6th, as a precautionary measure due to a threat in the community. This means all doors to the building were locked, and no one was permitted to enter or leave during the lockdown.

Working with local law enforcement, the Stewart Elementary School building remained on external lockdown until 12:05 p.m., when the situation was cleared.

The lockdown was lifted, and normal activities continued in the building for the remainder of the day. Afternoon buses and classes are on schedule. Extra security measures will remain in place until the end of dismissal from school.

We appreciate your partnership.  Safety is our top priority at Princeton City Schools.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Dennis Ramsey

Principal

Update: 12:05 p.m.

The lockdown is lifted. Afternoon students can enter the building. Buses are running. Extra security will remain until end of the day dismissal is complete.

Thank you!
